Kovack is married to Zubin Mehta who worked as a conductor for various philharmonic orchestras. They have two children together. Kovack was involved in Whitewater controversy that started as an investigation into the real estate investments of Bill Clinton and his wife. Kovack sued their associate McDougal for alleged embezzlement.
