Mae West is one of the biggest Hollywood stars from twentieth century. As most attractive actresses from that times, her figure had hourglass shape. Her attractive body measurements certainly had positive impact on her career. Her manager once mentioned, that she is usually posing in carefully chosen angles and wearing heavily padded clothes to appear more curvaceous than she in reality is. West wore 32C bra size. Mae was born August 17, 1893 in Los Angeles, California. That’s certainly a right place to become a star. Her mother was a former corset model, so Mae had also right beauty genes. Her very first role on Broadway was in a play entitled Sex, which she personally also wrote and directed. Ticket sales were very good, but young West was arrested for “corrupting the morals”. She never gave up and continued on her career path. In 1932, when West was almost 40 years old, she had a chance to appear in cinema movie for the first time – in Night After Night. Other successful movies followed. Mae West died on November 22, 1980.
