Kate was born October 13, 1967 in San Jose, California. She has Italian and Irish ancestry. In 1980’s, young Walsh worked in Japan as model. Her acting career started relatively late… in 1996. She’s popular mostly through main roles in TV series, such as Dr. Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, and Rebecca Wright on Bad Judge. However, she played also in movies like Under the Tuscan Sun, Bewitched, and Scary Movie 5.
